Should you run a wplace bot? No. It costs you the connection, not just the account.
wplace detects automation and answers with an IP ban. What a bot was for, painting a whole piece at once, is allowed on a map with no cooldown: one save here places up to 5,000 pixels.

What the rules say
wplace's community guidelines ban bots, scripts that place pixels, and exploits, alongside multiple accounts. Bot detection runs automatically, and the response is an IP ban: the connection is refused, so a second account from the same place is refused with it.
wplacer runs a web dashboard and coordinates several accounts. UltraBOT and AutoBOT draw a template from multiple accounts and farm droplets. Some advertise an "auto-guard" that repaints your piece when someone paints over it. Each one is the thing the rule names.

Not to cheat. To finish. A 1,000-pixel piece is 8h 20m of placing one charge every 30 seconds, during which anyone can paint over the half that is done. The bot is a bad answer to a real problem, and the problem is the cooldown.
How does a whole piece get painted?
Stage it against a template, then commit up to 5,000 pixels in one save. Fresh work costs more to paint over, so it stays up while you build.

Search a place or share your location, then zoom in to 15. The grid appears over the buildings, each square 10 meters across.

Is there a bot for wplace?
Several, on GitHub: wplacer, UltraBOT, AutoBOT and others. They place pixels from a template without you, some across several accounts. wplace's rules ban all of them.
What happens if you use a bot on wplace?
Detection is automatic and the answer is an IP ban rather than an account suspension, so the connection is banned along with the login. Community guides report bans inside the first session.
Is Blue Marble a bot?
No. It draws your template over the canvas and places nothing; its README says it will never auto-place. Overlays are allowed. Anything that clicks for you is not.
